Gearing up

For a long time I considered what to write here and almost deleted this account for lack of inspiration. I'm not sure why I didn't but an email from NaNo gave it a last minute reprieve. My first thought when I saw the email was, "Oh no, it's NaNo!" After reading it, I realized how much I was actually looking forward to trying this year.

I'm not sure which story line I will use because several are talking to me right now, but I am sure that one will emerge as the winner. I've been feeling lost lately and realized that I've been making it through the days without some creative writing activity. Even this blog is to get me back into the act of writing something everyday.

Okay, here it is. I'm going to shoot for the 50,000 words that is NaNo. I'm going to make time for it and, most importantly, for myself. I've forgotten how happy writing makes me.

A new home...

I've decided to switch over to Blogger as some have told me of problems trying to access my other blog. I've even noticed the time lag, but assumed that was just because I was the owner and had all the other stuff loading to create, edit, etc. I guess I should have checked sooner when the number of hits dropped recently.

If you read this blog, would you please let me know if you have any trouble getting it to open? I'm going to hold my old one open until I make a decision on the best one for me.

I will try to get some postings on here. Who knows, maybe the thrill of something new will get my creative writing juices flowing again.
